I remember having to apply a couple of Windows 10 updates during the break and that somehow screwed up my Microsoft Visual C++ version. Any other name (d3d9, d3d10, etc) would allow the game to launch, but obviously GEMFX wouldn't work as a result.Ģnd EDIT: Ok, I fixed the problem. 6 fps: Faster peak NBody calculation g only had +1 Level so the Graphics options and their respective impact can also vary greatly from game to game, so for the best performance, its a good idea to check out a game-specific optimization guide Skyrim Mod: BDO Cantabile Outfit. I absolutely loved using Legionnaire's preset and every other Reshade/Sweetfx presets just aren't enough for me.ĮDIT: I should also mention that even changing the name from dxgi.dll to d3d11.dll doesn't work either. So, I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix this sudden issue, if TW:WH2 received an update that made GEMFX outdated or something. It doesn't even crash, it just doesn't start at all once past the launcher.

It's only if I have GEMFX 1.0.9's dxgi.dll that the game refuses to open. I've installed Sweetfx 1.5 and even Reshade and their dxgi.dlls work just fine and the game still runs perfectly. Once I do remove dxgi.dll or, curiously enough, uncheck the 64bit option from the GEMFX configurator, the game runs fine - it actually starts up right after the launcher closes. Steam shows TW:WH2 as 'running' but then reverts to normal. Once I click play and the launcher closes, the actual game never pops up. But recently, the game refuses to launch if I have GEMFX's dxgi.dll. Are any of you guys still able to use GEMFX with TW:WH2? I've been using Legionnaire' Cinematic FX for a long time now and I couldn't play Warhammer II without it.
